Why I Started

Sam has spent over two decades working in financial services. I’ve seen the industry from every angle, and I’ve seen, time and again, the same problem play out for the people I work with.

Families who had a mortgage but no protection if their income stopped. Business owners with everything tied up in a company and nothing in a Will. People who thought they were covered, until life proved otherwise.

The issue wasn’t that people didn’t care, it was that the advice they were getting was fragmented. A mortgage broker here, an insurer there, a solicitor somewhere else entirely. Nobody was looking at the whole picture.

So I decided to…

Finance & Legacy Solutions was founded to bring mortgages, insurance, and estate planning under one roof, with one adviser and therefore clients never have to worry about what’s fallen through the gaps. 

I’m based in Newquay and proud of my Cornish roots. My clients are my neighbours, my community, and I treat them the way I’d want my own family to be treated.

I’ve spent over twenty years helping people with three of life’s most important decisions: getting the right mortgage, making sure they’re properly protected, and ensuring the people they love are taken care of — whatever the future holds.

I’ve seen what happens when one piece of the plan is missing. A family with a mortgage but no protection. A couple with life cover but no Will. Someone who did everything right financially, but whose wishes weren’t documented when it mattered most.

That’s why I passionately work across mortgages, insurance and wills. I don’t just find you the right mortgage rate; I make sure that rate comes with the right protection behind it, and that your family’s future is secured in writing too..

I’m a wife and mum to two daughters, and I see every client the way I see my own family. You deserve the same security, the same care, and the same peace of mind that I want for the people I love.

Beyond the Office

I’m deeply rooted in the Newquay community and offer my time and support to a range of community initiatives. Weekends often include volunteering at community events around Newquay and the local area. I believe in giving back to the place that gives us so much.

When it’s time to switch off, you’ll usually find me with my husband and daughters, walking the dog along the coast. It’s the best reset I know.
